As the instructor of a plein air painting class, I led a group of 15 ladies to the Wendy Potrero Trailhead for an evening of artistic expression. The stunning sunset over the mountains provided the perfect subject for the class, and I encouraged each of my students to find their own unique perspective and capture the beauty of the scene before them. As I painted alongside my students, I found myself entranced by the breathtaking view and the warmth of the colors that spilled across the sky. With each brush stroke, I worked to capture the essence of the moment and convey the magic of the sunset in the mountains. Now, my painting stands as a gorgeous representation of that night, a stunning view that captures the essence of the natural world and the artistic expression that brings it to life.
