Creating a live wedding painting is a seamless and exciting process! From planning the perfect scene to capturing the magic of your day in real-time, here's what to expect:

Following our discussion, I spend 2–4 hours designing a detailed composition tailored to your wedding. This includes selecting the perfect moment to capture, planning the scene, and ensuring the painting complements your theme and atmosphere.

Prep
Preparing the canvas is a crucial step that takes 3–5 hours. I sketch out the composition, add anchoring points, and, if necessary, create background textures to enhance the artwork. I also gather and organize all supplies needed for the event.

Live Paint
On your wedding day, I dedicate 6–8 hours to setting up, live painting, and engaging with your guests. This includes capturing the essence of your special moment while creating an interactive and memorable experience for everyone.
Step 5
Touchups
After the event, I refine the painting in my studio over 8–12 hours. This involves enhancing colors, adding depth, and polishing every detail to ensure the final artwork meets the highest standard of fine art.

Delivery
The final step takes 1–2 hours and involves carefully packaging and delivering your completed painting. Whether hand-delivered or shipped, your artwork will arrive ready to be proudly displayed as a timeless reminder of your wedding day.

Due to the nature of live painting and the goal of completing the piece by the end of the night, adding additional portraits isn’t possible.

To secure your date, it’s best to book as early as possible. Jamie’s calendar fills quickly, especially during peak wedding seasons.
To secure your date, a 100% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit ensures your reservation and covers the preparation and travel expenses needed for the event.
Once the painting is complete, Jamie carefully packages it for delivery. Whether hand-delivered or shipped, it will arrive ready to be displayed as a cherished work of art.
In the unfortunate event of a cancellation, 50% of your deposit will be refunded if the cancellation occurs at least three months before the wedding date. For cancellations within two months, 25% of the deposit will be refunded. Unfortunately, no refund is available for cancellations made within one month of the event. This policy reflects the significant pre-event investments, including flight bookings, material purchases, and other logistical preparations, which make it challenging to rebook the reserved date.
The deposit ensures your date is reserved and covers preliminary preparations, such as purchasing materials and securing travel arrangements. This commitment allows Jamie to dedicate her time and resources to creating a one-of-a-kind masterpiece for your wedding day.
